Girls ECNL and ECNL RL Player Placement Identification
BEFORE TRYOUTS:
MAY 4 – MAY 7

We strongly recommend you attend our U11-U19 ECNL and ECNL RL Player Placement Identification sessions from May 4-7. These sessions offer a valuable chance to be identified early and connect with our ECNL and ECNL RL staff before the official tryouts week. There is no additional charge to attend, making participation easier.

Please register for tryouts – this will automatically add you to the Player Placement Identification list of attendees!

Development Academy

Ages: U9, U10 (Grade 3 – Grade 4)

Overview

In this program, the focus is on Me & My Teammate. Build technical skills and game understanding through structured training and small sided competition.

This program is for U9 & U10 players looking for game experience in a 7 v 7 environment.

*internal staff approval required for U8 players to play up at U9

Season:
Full Year

Training
2-3 sessions per week with mandatory break periods throughout the year
Futsal: integrated into programming

Game Format:
Development Academy is U9 & U10 7v7 format

Regional Competitive

Ages: U13-U19 (Grade 7- Grade 12)

Overview

Competitive teams focused on strong training environments and regional competition.

League:
OYSA, N1 League, EA/MLS Next 2

Season:
Full Year

Training:
2-3 sessions per week
with mandatory club breaks throughout the year

Game Format:
11 v 11

Tournaments:
2-3 local tournaments
1 regional travel tournament

 

PreECNL, PreMLS Next & PreCompetitive

Ages: U11–U12 (Grade 5 – Grade 6)

Overview

A bridge program preparing players for elite platforms such as ECNL, ECNL RL and MLS Next.

League:
OYSA, N1 League, EA/MLS Next 2

Season:
Full Year
begins in May

Training:
2-3 sessions per week with mandatory club breaks throughout the year

Game Format:
9 v 9

Tournaments:
2-3 local tournaments
1-2 travel tournaments

MLS NEXT ACADEMY DIVISION

Ages: U13–U19 (Grade 7 – Grade 12)

Overview

Elite national platform providing top-level competition and exposure for players pursuing the highest levels of the game.

League:
MLS NEXT, N1 League, EA/MLS Next 2

Season:
Full year

Training:
3 sessions per week with mandatory club breaks throughout the year

Game Format:
11 v 11

Tournaments & Events:
1-2 regional events
1-2 travel tournaments

ECNL Regional League (ECNL RL)

Ages: U13–U19 (Grade 7 – Grade 12)

Nationally recognized elite competition platform with strong college exposure opportunities.

ECNL Regional League-Northwest Conference with the option to participate in N1 League

Yes, your registration fee covers the tryout for all our programs.

Please wear a black shirt, black shorts, and black socks for tryouts – no club/HS branding.  It is important that all players adhere to this requirement.  Upon check-in you will receive a number sticker to place on your shorts.

No, it is not required to attend both tryout days but it is strongly encouraged that you make every effort to be there both days in order to be properly placed on a team.

Please arrive 15-30 minutes before your scheduled start time to check in and warm up.  There will be minimal warm up time during the actual tryout.  It is strongly advised that you give yourself plenty of time to check in, attach your number and warm up before each session.
*Please note that parking is limited at tryout locations. Please allow plenty of time to find parking and walk to check-in locations.

Please attend the tryout for your specific age band.  Be sure to let the coaches know that your player is interested in playing up at another age group.  If you have any questions prior to tryouts please reach out by filling out the form below.

Yes, new uniforms will be required for our upcoming 26/27 season.  Each year players are required to purchase (1) training kit, (1) Game Kit (home or away) and one other item (jacket).  Nike Surf Backpacks are also required but do not have to be purchased every year.  Membership fees do not include uniforms.  Estimated cost: $350 annually for returning players.

  • Full registration fees will be announced at the end of April / beginning of May before tryouts start

Membership fee does not include:

  • Player’s personal travel and incidental expenses
  • Team level expenses (supplies and incidentals; team travel expenses such as meals, fuel, entertainment)

  • League/Conference travel expenses
  • National Playoffs and Post Season Event expenses
  • Futsal Leagues
  • Uniforms

Yes, U8 players can tryout for U9. Final decision will be made by internal staff.
