Our coaching staff is committed to fostering talent and creating a positive environment for players to grow and excel. Regardless of your level of experience, tryouts are an excellent chance to be a part of our Oregon Surf community.
2024/2025 Tryouts
Sign up now for our upcoming 24/25 Season Tryouts! Our Girls ECNL and ECNL RL tryouts will be held May 1st – May 3rd. Boys and Girls Competitive and Development Academy tryouts will be held May 6th – May 9th. Please see the specific times and locations based on your player’s birth year listed below.
Tryout registration is $50 for all sessions. You can attend multiple Oregon Surf tryout sessions (i.e ECNL and Competitive) at no additional charge. We strongly recommend players attend all tryout sessions for proper evaluation! Tryout registration fee is non-refundable.
Tryout Details:
- Please wear a white, black or grey shirt, black shorts, and black socks for tryouts – no club/HS branding.
- Arrive 45 minutes prior to your tryout start time to ensure enough time to check in at the specified tent.
- Warmups during scheduled tryout sessions will be minimal. Please prepare yourself and warm up on your own ahead of your tryout start time.
- Please pin your tryout number (pins provided) to the front of your shorts – right or left leg is fine. Keep/re-wear the tryout number issued to you on your first tryout day for day two of tryouts. Parents, please assist younger players with attaching the tryout number to their shorts. Coaches are not permitted to do this.

Oregon Surf provides tryouts as a way for players to demonstrate their skills in the game of soccer and attitude toward staff coaches and coaching leaders. Team invitation decisions are made by coaching staff under the guidance of club policies as set by the SURF Board of Directors.
